# Initiate a Pix Transfer

> Use this endpoint to start a Pix cash-out by creating an initiation record. This endpoint retrieves and validates destination information without moving funds. Supports MANUAL, KEY, and QR_CODE initiation. An endToEndId already held by a Pix or by a schedule returns 409 PIX-0423. The request body is intentionally an opaque raw-bytes payload (no typed schema): unknown fields are ignored.
