The four sections
Settings holds four sections: Applications, Security, Products, and System. Each one has its own page.
Applications
The Access Manager applications that authenticate external systems. Create them, read their credentials, and delete them.
Security
Security appears when your deployment enables it. It holds single sign-on providers, the IP allowlist, and multi-factor authentication.
Products
Turn Lerian products on or off for this environment.
System
System preferences, such as the interface language and the theme.
What each section needs
Applications and Security need Access Manager. When your account lacks the permission a section requires, the Console hides that entry in the Settings sidebar instead of showing an error. Applications needs the read permission on applications. Security needs the read permission on security. Products and System need neither Access Manager nor a permission.
Where users live
User, role, group, and permission management lives in a separate area called Authorization, with its own sidebar. Open it from the gear menu in the top bar, or from the Authorization card on the Console home page.

Create, edit, and delete user accounts, reset passwords, and read how groups, roles, and permissions give a user access.
