The Applications page
Click the gear icon () in the top navigation bar, then select Applications. The section needs Access Manager and the read permission on applications. Without that permission, Applications does not appear in the Settings sidebar. The table has five columns:
The Lerian Console application is protected: its row has no actions menu, so it cannot be viewed or deleted from here.
The footer gives the number of applications in the list. The list does not paginate.
A Security Warning banner stands above the table. It asks you to:
- Keep the client ID and the client secret confidential.
- Store the keys in a secure location.
- Delete an application only when you are sure.
- Rotate the credentials when you suspect a compromise.
- Keep the keys out of frontend code and public repositories.
Create an application
1

4
Save
Click Save. This step needs the create permission on applications. The Console answers with the message “Application successfully created”.
View an application
Find the application, open the menu in the Actions column, and select Details. The Application Details panel opens on the right side of the screen with four read-only fields: Name, Description, ClientId, and ClientSecret. A copy button sits next to the ClientId and the ClientSecret, in the panel and in the table.
Application details cannot be edited. To change one, delete it and create it again.
Delete an application

A dialog asks “Are you sure you want to delete?”. Click Yes, delete it. To stop, click I changed my mind.
What the Console does not expose
